Nuestro deporte necesita de torneos fáciles de organizar y con competencia entre todos los esquiadores sin importar la edad, el genero ni el nivel.
Para ello diseñamos un sistema de handicap para los torneos de slalom.
Requerimientos:
El torneo debe de ser en un dia durante 6 horas máximo.
Se empieza a las 830am (primer esquiador en el agua)
Los organizadores deben de estar 1 hora antes.
Máximo 25 esquiadores
La lancha debe de tener zero off
Máximo 1/ 2 tanque de gasolina antes de empezar.

Debe de terminar a las 3pm con una comida y premiación
a) Primero segundo y tercer lugar con handicap
b) Premiacion por categoria
c) El esquiador mas destacado
3 jueces en el torneo

La velocidad maxima para recortar por categoría son las oficiales de la IWSF
En caso de querer esquiar a una velocidad menor quitarle 3 boyas al handicap por cada 3 km/h

How to calculate a Handicap
Skiers running more than 6 a buoy at 10.25 mts they will subtract 7 buoys of their PB in tournament
Skiers running more than 1.5 @ 11.25 mts and less than .5 @ 9.75 they will subtract 6 buoys of their PB in tournament.
Skiers running more than 2.5 @ 14 mts and less than 2 @ 11.25 mts will subtract 5 buoys from their PB in tournament.
Skiers running more than 4 @ 18mts @ 55 km/h and less than 3 @ 14 mts will subtract 4 buoys from their PB in tournament
Skiers running more than 3 @ 18mts @ 49 km/h and less than 4.5 @ 18mts @ 55 km/h will subtract 3 buoys from their PB in tournament
Skiers running more than 3 @ 18 @ 40 km/h and less than 3.5 @ 18mts @ 49 km/h will subtract 2 buoys from their PB in tournament
Skiers running more than 3 @ 18 @ 31 and less than 3.5 @ 18 @ 40 km/h will subtract 1 buoys from their PB in tournament
